Team India announced for Champions Trophy 2025

Champions Trophy 2025 Indian Squad: The team has been announced for the Champions Trophy starting on 19 February. Yashasvi Jaiswal has been given a chance. Know which 15 players got a chance.

India squad has been released for Champions Trophy 2025 and also a three match one day ODI against England. Captains would be done with responsibility upon the body of Rohit Sharma while Vice- Captian in that place for him, made will be of Shubman Gill, another notable mention being in team in spite of lots of speculation: – Pacesters are no behind being dropped- their inclusion can see into, team will have of Bumraa Mohammad shami.

Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul have been given a chance as wicketkeepers. While Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh have been included in the team as pacers. At the same time, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja have been given a chance as all-rounders. There are three pacers in the team. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh. Whereas, Mohammed Siraj has not been given a single opportunity. Not only Siraj, Sanju Samson and Nitish Reddy also have not been included in this team.
Considering the fitness issues Jasprit Bumrah, the three-match ODI series against England has gifted an opportunity for a young guns Harshit Rana. However, he has not been included in the Champions Trophy squad. The three ODIs for England will be played on 6, 9 and 12 February.

Groups of Champions Trophy 2025

The Champions Trophy is going to begin from February 19. A total of 8 teams are participating in the tournament. These teams have been divided into two groups. Group A has India, Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh. While Group B has South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan and England. The tournament is hosted by Pakistan. However, all the matches of India will be held in UAE. The last time Champions Trophy was hosted is in the year 2017.
