BJP has released another list of candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The names of 29 candidates have been announced in this list. Kapil Mishra, who was earlier a part of Aam Aadmi Party, has been fielded from Karawal Nagar. On the other hand, Harish Khurana has been given ticket from Moti Nagar and Priyanka Gautam from Kondli Assembly seat. Five women candidates are also part of this list.

In the 29-strong list, Harish Khurana has been named the party’s candidate in Moti Nagar and Priyanka Gautam in Kondli. Raj Karan Khatri has been fielded in Narela, Surya Prakash Khatri in Timarpur, Gajendra Daral in Mundka, Bajrang Shukla in Kirari, Karan Singh Karma in Sultanpur Majra, Karnail Singh in Shakur Basti and Tilak Ram Gupta in Trinagar.
Manoj Kumar Jindal has got the ticket in Sadar Bazar, Satish Jain in Chandni Chowk, Deepti Indora in Matia Mahal, Urmila Kailash Gangwal in Madipur, Shyam Sharma in Hari Nagar, Shweta Saini in Tilak Nagar, Pankaj Kumar Singh in Vikaspuri, Pawan Sharma in Uttam Nagar, Praduymn Rajput in Dwarka, Sandeep Sehrawat in Matiala, Neelam Pahalwan in Najafgarh, Kuldeep Solanki in Palam, Umang Bajaj in Rajinder Nagar, Neeraj Basoya in Kasturba Nagar and Rohtas Bidhuri in Tughlakabad.
A former minister in Arvind Kejriwal’s earlier government, Kapil Mishra had already jumped ship and joined the BJP back in 2019.
The BJP has today released its first list of candidates, fielding Parvesh Verma against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi assembly constituency and Ramesh Bidhuri in Kalkaji opposite chief minister Atishi.
The BJP candidates include Dushyant Gautam in Karol Bagh, Manjinder Singh Sirsa in Rajouri Garden, Kailash Gehlot in Bijwasan and Arvinder Singh Lovely in Gandhi Nagar.
The BJP fielded candidates such as Raj Kumar Bhatia in Adarsh Nagar, Deepak Chaudhary in Badli, Kulwant Rana in Rithala, Manoj Shokeen in Nangloi Jat, Rajkumar Chauhan in Mangolpuri and Vijendra Gupta in Rohini.
The Delhi election will be held in a single phase on February 5. The results will be declared on February 8.
